805 Writers Conference

Founded by Kathleen Kaiser, the 805 Writers Conference returns in person and online this November 5 and 6 for two days packed with workshops on book marketing and writing. Penny Sansevieri, Desiree Duffy, and William Bernhardt are three of the top experts presenting this year.

Held at Crowne Plaza Hotel on the beach in Ventura, California, the conference promises to deliver the information you need to succeed in publishing and is perfect for you if you who want to learn about the craft and business of book publishing

The entire conference is available in-person and via Zoom. Zoom attendees will have the opportunity to schedule a talk with a book editor about their manuscripts.

Four half-day workshops will cover memoir, characters, book marketing, and author branding. The workshops will be lead by Penny Sansevieri, William Bernhardt, Jennifer Thompson, and Katherine Ann Jones.

New this year is the 805 Book Expo that will feature over 40 authors daily. The Expo is open to the public for free.
